23 September 2009: Demonstration in the Schlosshotel Kronberg

For the 90th birthday of Anselm's grandmother four of us had the honour to dance at the reception in the Red Salon of the Schlosshotel Kronberg much to the delight of the guests.

And much to the liking of Dagmar, Werner, Anselm and Eva S. who do not often get the opportunity to dance on a valuable carpet besides a huge fireplace and a historic wall-carpet and even tables decorated with thistles! Since the Schlosshotel Kronberg had been unable to reserve a room for the reception until 2 days before the event (due to the International Automobile Exhibition in Franfurt and other events) we had been unable to get more dancers together not knowing if and if yes with how much space we would be able to demonstrate. Therefore we chose to be just the four of us, all with much demonstration experience. We danced »Shepherd's Crook« and a medley of two different quick and two different slow dances - and the guests clapped so much that Anselm added one of his solo-dances at the end.
