Frankfurt Spring Ball

The annual Spring Ball is the most important item on the Frankfurt Scottish Country Dance Club's social calendar. Each year (usually a Saturday mid/end of April) we welcome up to 100 dancers from near and far to a grand dance evening with live music and a delicious buffet.

More detailed information about the ball usually comes out in early January, and it is possible to register to participate then.

RSCDS Central Germany Branch/FSCDC Tea Dance

Another institution by now is the »tea dance«, held jointly every January on a weekend afternoon by the FSCDC in cooperation with the RSCDS Central Germany Branch. At the tea dance, we're doing dances according to a motto. The programme is not pre-published, but the dances are extensively explained and walked through. In the middle of the afternoon there is a cosy tea and coffee break, and afterwards we (optionally) adjourn to a traditional restaurant to rest and recuperate.

Other Dates

Throughout the year there are other special events, such as workshops for advanced dancers or teacher (candidates) or introductory events for beginners (for example, during the Intercultural Weeks in Frankfurt). The details are published in time on this web site.
